Our Process
Initial Visit
A meeting with you at your business or home will aid in evaluating the scope and expectations of your project. This may include a conversation, photo documentation, and measurements if necessary. Our goal with this visit is to recognize the issues with your space and begin to develop solutions.
Budget Draft
The Budget Draft will provide you with approximate budgetary numbers to aid in your consideration of the project. The Budget Draft is not a binding contract, but will address the rough cost of materials, labor, etc. as previously discussed during the initial visit.
Design
If you are pleased with the numbers on the Budget Draft, our Design Coordinator will work with you to make design selections, advise on the functionality of your space, and provide guidance on products to fit your budget.
Detailed Proposal
After design selections have been made, the final contract for your project will be ready for signing. The proposal will include more precise numbers and allowance amounts if applicable. This step often includes a meeting with one of our team members to review any questions as you sign the design and contractual agreement.
Progress Reports
Once the proposal is signed, we will provide access to our user- friendly project management software. CoConstruct enables efficient client-contractor communication throughout the entire process of your build. You will be able to send direct messages to us, view progress photos, updates, and any necessary documentation.
Invoicing
After an initial 10% deposit, monthly invoices will be sent based on the work completed for that period. When the project is complete, you will receive a final change order that will account for any credits or additional costs accrued.

Most recently, an upstairs neighbor whose water heater leaked & caused damage to our floors & caused mold inside the wall & under our flooring which all had to be replaced. It was all fixed by Ken’s crew in a professional & timely manner. New sheetrock, flooring & ceiling repaired & it’s beautiful & just in time for the holidays. This all began a few days before Hurricane Helene hit which caused Ken’s workload to increase dramatically but his crew was prompt, precise & finished the job. Highly recommend them!
